I have always liked maps. As a child I would take out the atlas or a paper map and was thrilled to be able to understand the lines and symbols. Online maps are even better, and I have wasted many hours scrolling, plotting and zooming.

Drupal 5 ships with two types of contact forms. One is the personal contact form that each member can turn off and on for themselves in their profile. The other is the site-wide contact form. This form can be set up to use categories the user can choose in order to email the appropriate person.

It was only a couple of years ago that I could head on over to the Drupal modules page and keep tabs on the progress there with a quick visit. It was fairly easy to remember most of the different options available.

Michelle from Shell Multimedia has put together a great Social Network Playground using various modules to build up user profiles. The site uses Drupal 5 and looks very nice and polished.

I was one of the last people on the planet to have a mobile phone, but once I owned one I wanted to connect it to the Internet in some fashion. I did not buy one of the fancy phones with a web browser, just a simple flip phone with voice and text.
